1. Overview

This Privacy Policy applies to the SHEIN Coupon Finder Android application (the “App”) and the public website at couponcodesoff.com (together, the “Service”). The Service is independently operated and is not owned, endorsed, or operated by SHEIN.

Plain-language summary: You do not need an account. Your selected market, favorites, and display preferences are stored on your device. If you enable notifications or vote on a coupon, limited technical information is sent to our server so those features can work.

2. Information we process

Information stored on your device

  • Your selected SHEIN country or market.
  • Saved coupon favorites, notification preference, theme preference, and haptic-feedback preference.
  • A local snapshot used to avoid repeating notifications for the same confirmed coupon.

This device-stored information is not an account profile and can generally be removed by clearing the App’s storage or uninstalling the App.

Information sent to our server

  • Coupon requests: the selected country, app request details, and standard server log information such as date, time, and IP address.
  • Coupon votes: the coupon identifier, positive or negative rating, and a one-way representation of the network address used to limit duplicate votes.
  • Push notifications: if enabled, an Expo push token, selected country, device platform, and App version.
  • Affiliate redirects: the selected country, request source, date and time, and standard technical request information used to record and secure the redirect.
  • Support messages: information you choose to send by email.

Information we do not request

The App does not require your name, shopping account credentials, payment-card details, precise GPS location, contacts, photos, or microphone access. Purchases and checkout happen on third-party services, not inside the App.

3. How we use information

  • Deliver coupon results for the market you selected.
  • Save and display aggregate working / not-working coupon votes.
  • Send optional alerts about newly confirmed coupons.
  • Open and measure affiliate redirects requested by the user.
  • Prevent abuse, repeated voting, automated misuse, and security incidents.
  • Diagnose reliability issues and answer support requests.

4. Service providers and external links

We use service providers only as needed to operate the Service. They may process limited technical data under their own privacy terms:

  • Expo and Firebase Cloud Messaging: delivery of Android push notifications.
  • Hostinger: website, API, database, and email infrastructure.
  • Coupon and affiliate providers: coupon feeds and user-requested tracked destination links.
  • SHEIN: when you choose to open a destination or continue to checkout.

We do not sell personal information. The website does not currently use behavioral advertising cookies or third-party analytics scripts.

5. Your choices

  • Country: change your selected market in the App’s Settings screen.
  • Notifications: disable alerts in the App or Android system settings. When disabled in the App, it requests removal of the stored push token.
  • Favorites and settings: remove favorites in the App. Clear App storage or uninstall the App to remove locally stored data.
  • External links: you decide whether to open any affiliate or SHEIN destination link.

6. Retention and security

We retain server records only as long as reasonably needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the Service or meet legal requirements. Push tokens are retained while notification delivery is enabled or until they are invalidated or removed. Coupon vote protections may be retained to enforce one-vote limits.

We use HTTPS, access controls, and other reasonable safeguards. No internet transmission or storage method is guaranteed to be completely secure.

7. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.

8. International use

The Service can be used in multiple markets. Information may be processed in countries where our providers operate, which may have different data-protection rules than your country.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the App, website, or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date above identifies the latest version.
